My newest WIP cross stitch

Here’s my newest WIP. Haven’t stitched in quite a while, it’s good to be back. QUESTION: This is 25 count evenweave, stitching over two. The bottom three rows are stitched with three floss threads, the top three rows are stitched with two floss threads. Should I be using two or three threads with this type of material? What are your thoughts? How does one decide?
