Cat with chamomile cross stitch design

I just finished stitching this freebie. It’s on 32 ct. white chocolate linen from Wichelt. The color doesn’t come across well though. I am learning that I like Durene’s designs better on 28 ct. linen due to the detailed backstitching. I needed to make a number of adjustments and leave some stitches out because they ended up too crowded on this count fabric. I shortened the whiskers and left some of the fur lined out. I didn’t have any of the called for pink flosses so made my own substitutions. I’ll probably make this into a little pillow finish.
